Dr. Rizalino B. Cruz graduated from University of the Philippines with Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He completed his Master in Public Policy in Saitama University. He also has a Master of Science in Urban Planning and Land Administration—Geo-Information Management Inter-specialization International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC). Then, earned his Ph.D. in Public Administration at the Florida State University. Dr. Cruz is an associate professor at the NCPAG. He teaches public policy studies, urban planning, land administration, program and project management, and research methods. His research focuses on sustainability, energy, policy, and institutional intersections, particularly in climate change adaptation and blue carbon ecosystems. He has authored several articles, “Harnessing Geo-Information Technology for Community Empowerment and Identity: The Case of the Bukidnon Tribe in the Philippines,” published in the Philippine Journal for Public Administration (PJPA). He has previously served as the Director of the Center for Policy and Executive Development (CPED) and is currently affiliated with the Center for Leadership, Citizenship, and Democracy (CLCD).
