I am an Assistant Professor at the University of the Philipines, National College of Public Administration and Governance, and a PhD Candidate at the City University of Hong Kong Department of Public and International Affairs. Formerly, I was a lecturer at the University of the Philippines, De La Salle University and Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Before joining the academe, I worked with civil society organizations and social movements in the Philippines and internationally, doing action research, education and advocacy on a range of issues including human rights, climate justice, democratic governance and international solidarity. I obtained my M.Sc. in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and held positions in the academe, government and various non-governmental organizations. My current research interests include Critical Political Economy, International Development, Southeast Asia, Global Production Networks, Labour and Social Movements, and Industry 4.0
