Dr. Diola is a tenured full professor and currently the Quality Assurance Officer at NCPAG. She finished her Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) from NCPAG in 2009, garnering the Dean’s award for academic excellence, being the top of the graduating class. She completed her M.S. Development Communication and B.S. Development Communication, both from University of the Philippines.  

She was a former Director of the Center for Citizenship and Local Democracy (CLCD) in 2010-2011 and 2016-2019. She has continually demonstrated her   expertise   in development communication and governance. She was also Director of the Publications Office of the College and ex-officio Editor-in-Chief of the Philippine Journal of Public Administration (PJPA) in November 2011-November 2015. Over the years of her work life, she was   engaged   with   different   sectors   of   society, including   non-government   and   civil   society organizations in different Asian countries, government agencies, local leaders, the academe, multilateral development institutions, such as the Asian Development Bank and the ASEAN, farmers’, women, and youth organizations, as well as indigenous peoples. She was a consultant by the European Commission in 2012 and formulated the Volunteer and Citizenship Program for local   government   units   under   the   Department   of   Interior   and   Local   Government-Local Government Academy (DILG-LGA). Similarly, she designed the National Agenda for Policy on Volunteerism   framework (NAPV, 2022-2040)   for   the   Philippine   government   through   the Philippine National Volunteer   Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA). In   recognition   of   her   academic excellence, she was elected member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Gamma Sigma Delta Honor Society of Agriculture in 2007 and   1982, respectively. Dr. Diola sits as one of 15 members of the (global) Board of Directors in the International Society for Third Sector Research (ISTR), whose head office is in the USA.
