Education

Prof. Endriga was a graduate of Bachelor of Arts, major in History as cum laude from the University of the Philippines. He obtained his MA in History from the University of Wisconsin (1969) and MA in Public Administration from Cornell University (1974). He took Special Studies in Policy Analysis for Kennedy School of Government (Sprinter, 1980-1981). He was a former Professor of the NCPAG from 1995 to 1998. Prof. Endriga handled various positions in the University of the Philippines, among them were: Administrative Assistant of the Community Development Research Council; Assistant Dean of the University of the Philippines Manila; Secretary of the U.P. College of Public Administration (CPA); Director of Graduate Studies UP CPA; Dean of the School of Development Management of the U.P. Visayas; Director of the UP Center for Integrative and Development Studies; Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs U.P. Visayas; Director of the Program for Leadership, Citizenship and Democracy, U.P. CPA; and Vice President for Public Affairs of U.P. (1999 – 2003). Prof. Endriga was a Fullbright-Hays awardee and a member of several organizations, like the Phi Kappa Phi, Gama Mu, Phi Alpha Theta, Philippine Society for Public Administration, Philippine Historical Association, International Political Science Association (IPSA), and International Association of Historians for Asia (IAHA).
