Two members of the UP-NCPAG faculty joined the board of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NCRP).
Dr. Enrico L. Basilio and Dr. Ebinezer R. Florano were inducted into the NCRP as associate members on June 30, 2021.
An attached agency of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the NRCP is tasked to promote and support fundamental or basic research for the continuing total improvement of the research capability of individual scientists or group of scientists; provide advice on problems and issues of national interest; promote scientific and technological culture to all sectors of society; and foster linkages with local and international scientific organizations for enhanced cooperation in the development and sharing of information.
Basilio and Florano will be serving under NCRP’s Division 1: Governmental, Educational, and International Policies.
