The UP Diliman librarians led by the University Librarian Ms. Elvira B. Lapuz, participated in the Kaohsiung City, Taiwan Educational City Learning Navigation for Librarians from October 11-16, 2024. Ms. Rheabelle Velasco, a College Librarian at UP NCPAG, joined the UP Diliman Main Library team. This learning visit provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of innovative practices in library management, urban governance, and city aesthetics. They also facilitated academic exchanges and discussions on nation-building and international cooperation, explored potential opportunities and collaborations. The group visited the following libraries: National Sun Yat-Sen University, National Kaoshiung University of Science and Technology, National Kaoshiung University of Hospitality and Tourism, Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages, Kaoshiung Public Library, and Lee Ko-Yung Memorial Library.
