NCPAG to offer Master of Public Policy (MPP) and Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) degrees

The UP NCPAG Faculty Council approved the proposal of the MPA Curriculum Review Committee to offer two new graduate programs, namely, Master of Public Policy (MPP) and Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) in a special meeting held on 3 April 2025 at the ISSI Building. These will be offered in addition to the current MPA and Diploma in Public Management (DipPM) programs, which will also undergo curricular changes in the coming months.

The recommendation was a result of a series of stakeholder discussions, survey, and international benchmarking initiated by the MPA committee in 2024, under the joint leadership of Dr. Henry Basilio and Dr. Abraham Manalo.

All of NCPAG’s programs, from the bachelor’s to the doctorate, are currently undergoing simultaneous review as part of the College’s quality assessment and curriculum reform initiative.

Further details regarding the new MPP and EMPA programs will be announced soon.
