Delegates from 12 Asian countries are in the Philippines to attend a conference-workshop at the National College of Public Administration and Governance (NCPAG).
Representatives from local government training centers in Thailand, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Mongolia, Pakistan Myanmar, Laos, Indonesia, India, Cambodia, Bhutan and Bangladesh are currently attending the Conference of Local Government Training Institutions in Asia and the Pacific. NCPAG faculty and Director of the College’s Center for Local and Regional Governance, is representing the country in the said activity.
The event is being organized as a collaborative program between the Local Governance Initiative and Network (LOGIN), Centre for Integrated Rural Development in Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP), and the NCPAG. It aims to “bring together Local Government Training Institutions to network, share strategies, pool resources and explore the possibility of a continued engagement to share, support and learn together.”
