Another graduate of the University of the Philippines-National College of Pubic Administration and Governance (UP-NCPAG) will be joining government as a senior executive.
The Commission on Human Rights announced on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, the appointment of Jose Luis Martin “Chito” Gascon as its new chairperson and three new commissioners in the person of Karen Gomez Dumpit, Leah Tanodra-Armamento, and NCPAG alumna Atty. Gwendolyn Pimentel-Gana.
Atty. Gwendolyn Pimentel-Gana graduated from the NCPAG with a Master in Public Administration degree in 2002. Pimentel-Gana is also currently serving as Vice President of the NCPAG Alumni Association (NCPAGAA).
Other current government officials serving as NCPAGAA officers are Hon. Antonio Trillanes, Senator of the Republic of the Philippines (President); Engr. Reynaldo Tagudando, Regional Director of the Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region, and Atty. Marilyn Barua- Yap, Secretary General of the House of Representatives of the Philippines (Members of the Board of Directors).
