The University of the Philippines-National College of Public Administration and Governance concluded on June 11, 2013 its strategic planning workshop.
Faculty and staff gathered in the two-day workshop dedicated to assessing the achievements of the College since it conducted another planning workshop in 2013 and to chart directions in the next three years. Also part of the agenda in the workshop is the crafting of the new vision statement for the College.
Aside from faculty and staff in active service, former deans and retired faculty of the College also participated in the activity to share their insights on the challenges faced and future plans of the NCPAG.
Emphasized in the planning workshop is the commitment of the NCPAG to improve its operations as a Center of Excellence in public administration education in line with the idea of being a public service College of the University of the Philippines. In addition to being a think tank on governance issues, the faculty and staff also envisions the College to serve as highly respected critic and conscience of the government. This vision expresses the commitment of the College to make a difference in society.
