Following the appointment of the Dean Maria Fe V. Mendoza on 2 August 2013, the National College of Public Administration and Governance held a strategic planning workshop on 22-23 October 2013.
The activity, which was attended by NCPAG faculty and staff, was meant to chart the direction of the College in the next three years and beyond.
Among the highlights of the strategic planning workshop is the commitment of the NCPAG to improve its operations as a Center of Excellence in public administration education in line with the idea of being a public service College of the University of the Philippines.
In addition to being a think tank on governance issues, the faculty and staff also envisions the College to serve as highly respected critic and conscience of the government. This vision expresses the commitment of the College to make a difference in society.
