His Excellency Han Dong-Man, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Philippines, was in UP on 18 March 2019 to deliver a lecture and meet university officials.
Ambassador Han Dong-Man delivered his lecture Vision for Peace in the Korean Peninsula and the Philippines-Korea Relation at the International Centre for Public Administration (ICPA), National College of Public Administration and Governance (NCPAG).
The lecture, which was co-organized by the UP Korea Research Center (UPKRC) and NCPAG, was part of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the bilateral relations between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of the Philippines. Official welcome and opening remarks were given by UPKRC Director Aldrin P. Lee and NCPAG Dean Maria Fe Villamejor-Mendoza.
A courtesy meeting followed the lecture. UP officials led by President Danilo L. Concepcion and UP Diliman Chancellor Michael L. Tan welcomed Ambassador Dong-Man at the Board of Regents Room in Quezon Hall.
