NCPAG Dean receives best paper award in Austria

Graz, Austria—NCPAG Dean and Professor Dr. Maria Fe Villamejor-Mendoza received on 9 February 2018 the best paper award at the 2nd World Symposium on Climate Change Communication.

Dean Mendoza’s paper Philippine Private Sector Engagement Beyond Climate Change Awareness was selected for the award from among 26 papers presented in this symposium co-organized by the Manchester Metropolitan University, International Climate Change Information Programme, Hamburg University of Applied Science, and the University of Graz, held on 7-9 February 2018.

The symposium focused on “addressing the challenges in communicating climate change across various audiences.” It was also organized with the aim of initiating a “better understanding and in catalyzing further action to better communicate climate change.”

Papers presented in the symposium will be published in the book tentatively titled Addressing the Challenges in Communicating Climate Change Across Various Audiences.
