NCPAG’s Dr. Ebinezer R. Florano is recipient of the International Publication Award (IPA) for March 2016 for his article “Mainstreaming Integrated Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction in Local Development Plans in the Philippines.” The article was published in Handbook of Climate Change Adaptation edited by Walter Leal Filho and printed by Springer in 2015.
The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, which administers the granting of the IPA, explains on its website that “The purpose of the award is to encourage faculty, REPS and students to contribute to the body of knowledge in their respective fields/discipline by publishing in internationally respected journals that are peer-reviewed and adhere to high standards of scholarship.”
Florano is currently Associate Professor at NCPAG and Director of the Center for Policy and Executive Development.
