NCPAG hosts lecture on state of penal administration in PH

To celebrate its 63rd founding anniversary, the University of the Philippines National College of Public Administration and Governance (UPNCPAG) hosted a special lecture entitled “The State of Penal Administration in the Philippines: Prospects for Reforms” by Dr. Raymund E. Narag, Assistant Professor at the Southern Illinois University. The lecture was held at the NCPAG Assembly Hall on June 15, 2015.

An alumnus of NCPAG, Dr. Narag is currently a visiting professor at the College. He received his PhD degree from Michigan State University School of Criminal Justice in the United States as a Fulbright scholar. Dr. Narag’s research interest delves on understanding community-based processes that mitigate the proliferation of crime and delinquency.
