Saguil

Prof. Dan A. Saguil is  Associate Professor at the National College of Public Administration and Governance (NCPAG) of the University of the Philippines Diliman. He teaches courses in program/project development and management, public policy and program administration, policy analysis, organizational management, public personnel administration, public fiscal administration, ethics and accountability in the public service, and research methodology, among others. His specializations include organizational management, fiscal administration, policy analysis, and program/project development and management.

He previously served as the Director of two constituent centers of NCPAG: the Center for Policy and Executive Development (CPED) and the Center for Public Administration and Governance Education (CPAGE). Professor Saguil was also the College Secretary of NCPAG and Acting Director of the Supply and Property Management Office (SPMO) of the University of the Philippines Diliman. Outside the university, Professor Saguil also serves as a Senior Fellow of the Pimentel Institute for Leadership and Governance founded by the late Senate President Aquilino Pimentel, Jr.

Professor Saguil is presently the Chairman of the Technical Panel for Public Administration of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), which oversees the curricular development and review of all Public Administration academic programs in the Philippines. He is also serving as the Secretary General of the Association of Schools of Public Administration in the Philippines (ASPAP).
