NCPAG faculty and students participate in Taiwan-Philippine Policy and Social Innovation Forum

A delegation composed of faculty members and students of the University of the Philippines-National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP-NCPAG) flew to Taichung City in Taiwan to participate in the 2nd Taiwan-Philippine Policy and Social Innovation Forum.

The activity, which began in 3 May 2019 and will run until 12 May 2019, is hosted by the Department of Public Management and Policy (DPMP) of Tunghai University.  It aims to enhance collaborations and fruitful interactions between Taiwan and the Philippines. It includes talks and seminars on financial and energy governance and learning visits to selected academic and government institutions in Taiwan.

Also part of the program is the conduct of the Taiwan Association of Schools of Public Administration and Affairs (TASPAA) Annual Conference held on 4-5 May 2019. Fifteen students of UP-NCPAG presented their papers in the conference.

Dr. Alex Brillantes, Jr. headed the NCPAG delegation composed of Dean Maria Fe Villamejor-Mendoza, Dr. Jocelyn Cuaresma, Dr. Kristoffer Berse, Dr. Maria Victoria Raquiza, Dr. Enrico Basilio, Dr. Remigio Ocenar, and 48 students in the graduate level.
